March started off with an absolute bang ✨️

A sold out Sydney Town Hall & a Mardi Gras room turning into a street party 🎉

Can't ask for much more; forever grateful to the promoters & venues that trust me - and the crowds that make these occasions what they are!

It's been a London Bridge Revival kinda year

It took a while but here's a link to my first ever radio mix courtesy of @doof_nights90.5fm in June

I remember it all happening so quickly and unexpectedly, though I'm of course extremely grateful i even got the call.

I took it extremely seriously though it was a new world and I didn't quite know what to expect

With about 3 days of prep work and recording in the literal back shack between one of my other jobs, juggling decks, laptops, files, usbs and trying to get it right in the recording while life was playing all around me

To say there were blood sweat and tears put into this would be an understatement.

And yet I still berated myself for what I knew were flaws in the mix which.. most people might not even here. And so like many of my mixes I didn't upload it;

This being despite the fact in the studio, I saw first hand behind the lights and screen, this was one of the highest listenership night the radio slot had had. Through listeners and texts - we saw them all come in

I was flabbergasted. I couldn't believe it, and yet I could.
I was nervous to advertise it though I knew that's entirely the point - to help support the music, the station, the man that put me on, and I guess my own work

All I knew was it would be on some forum of radio, and these things have a sense of posterity and i held myself to impossible standards for no reason other than wanting to honour everyone who would listen it

It's opened doors for me I didn't know existed

While I can be quiet loud sometimes, I was hesitant about any of this

But I love music and it's woven hand in hand with life itself for me

So I'm proud of this one and wanted to at least upload it so I could listen to some of my favourite tracks in a mix I would understand and could take me on a journey no matters where I was

Happy New Years - here's to the best 2025 for us all 🎉

[EDIT] oh also, I'll be updating the track listing when I can -

Bit of a snapshot to capture the vibes of silly season so far - I don't think I've ever had a December jam packed with so much F U N!!!!!

Every event seems to be trying to out do the one before it and I'm feeling very honoured and grateful to experience & be a part of them!

Thankful for every promoter, event manager, venue staff, client, and fellow entertainment & hospo crew!
