Today I stopped by Sweet Sundays and got myself some delicious KRÈMAS FRENCH TOAST 🥞🇭🇹 topped with blueberries 🫐 and a side of eggs! 🍳🔥

Now, this isn’t my first time here, so I already knew what to expect! 👀💯

⭐ MY HONEST RATING: 8/10! 🔥

The French toast was definitely hitting! 😋🙌🏾

To celebrate the magic of this neighborhood and its rich community is a privilege I will never take lightly. 🤎
Nearly 500 of you joined us on Saturday for the Bedford Stuyvesant Brownstoners’ house tour, filling 312 MacDonough with conversation, curiosity, and so much love for Brooklyn.
My work takes me into homes across different neighborhoods in different boroughs every day. It warmed my heart to slow down, spend time with this community and those who traveled from far and wide, and hear what made this home special to each of you. The details you noticed. The memories they brought back. The stories you shared.
In a world that moves so quickly, there is something deeply meaningful about pausing together to appreciate the history, craftsmanship, and people that make these homes & this neighborhood, so extraordinary.
A heartfelt thank-you to @sweetsundayscafe , @element.brooklyn , and @framedflorals for bringing their Brooklyn creativity and thoughtful touches to the day, and to @mackenziechilds for adding a little extra magic. ✨

Today was a wait-and-see kind of day.

Life has been LIFE-ING behind the scenes, but the sky was blue, the sun was out, and I landed at Sweet Sunday’s with a delicious latte + croissant.

And honestly? That was enough.

A spacious Black-owned Haitian coffee shop with great coffee, plenty of flavors and food options, and that resilient Haitian spirit. 🇭🇹 My kind of people. My kind of vibes.
