Me and my hubby did so many @eat__forgood things the past three months. We had so much fun and I couldn’t be prouder. We got to donate to Project 491 which helps the trans and gender diverse young people in Queensland get the gender affirming care that was taken from them, and to the @incarceratedtgdfund which helps support currently and recently incarcerated trans and gender diverse people in so called “Australia”. All our leftover funds are going to something very exciting coming in May that we will be announcing next week. This will be my last hurrah for a little while so you won’t want to miss it. But before that we have one more at our favourite @greenhousestudios_sydney this Sunday before they pack up shop, so I hope to see you there. Thanks for all the support over these past few months, it’s meant the world to me. I love feeding people but mostly I love doing it with my besties and being able to give back to my gorgeous community.

17th BT show across eight calendar years, not nearly often enough for a band this good.

First @bodytypeband gig since the Duke Debacle last October. This was *a lot* better, despite the darkness on stage what with Dr Sure requested the lighting was turned down and it was never turned back up again.

This was a set looking to the future with five unreleased tracks and only Palms from the distant past. I'm keen to see how they sound when released as BT are sometime more frenetic live than they are recorded.

If I read the set list correctly, this is "Eye is a Mouth".

Sneak peek at what will be the first single from the debut @sweetiebandie due later this year - called "Dog Tooth".

One thing I noticed in this set, Rikki and Lucy got lead vocals on one one track each which is wholesome.

12 months to the day(!) since their last show, @sweetiebandie are back which was motivation enough to revisit the annoyingly located Bridge Hotel.

In a set packed with new material ("if you don't like it, tough luck, its already been recorded"), they sounded a little edgier than on their two EPs.

This tune is "Night Bitch" and if its a representation of what the album will deliver, then I for one am keen to hear it all.
