Two years. 🦭❤️

What started as an idea became a place, and that place became a community.

To everyone who has walked through our doors, shared a meal, brought a friend, posted a photo, or chosen to support a small independent business—thank you. You are the reason we’re here.

To our friends who jumped behind the camera, played a DJ set, fixed a dishwasher, moved furniture, or answered our last-minute calls for help: thank you for always showing up.

To every team member who has been part of this journey, thank you for bringing your personality, creativity, and passion. You are the identity of the Seal.

Over the last two years, we’ve taken risks, made bold choices, trusted our instincts, and built menus that reflect our love for creativity and doing things a little differently.
Thank you for embracing it all.

Here’s to two years of community, good food, great people, and a few beautifully chaotic moments along the way.

See you tonight. 🎉

Before summer officially begins, we’re setting the table 🍽️

We’re unveiling our Summer Menu at an intimate long table dinner — and we’re inviting a few of you to experience it before anyone else.

We’re giving away 2 pairs of exclusive seats to join us for a private tasting where:
✨ Our chef walks you through each new dish — the meaning, the inspiration, the details.
🍸 Our bar manager introduces the new cocktails and the stories behind every sip.
It’s up-close. It’s personal. It’s a first look (and first taste) at what summer will feel like here.

Here’s how to enter:
1️⃣ Like this post
2️⃣ Comment who you’re bringing to the table
3️⃣ Share this post
Contest ends March 25th and winners will be contacted through this account only.

Two lucky duos. One long table.
See you at ours. 🖤
*** Note that we will be closed for public.

Ohhhh Squamish. What a joy you’ve been. So many moments over the past couple of years I’ve struggled to believe my luck, life’s felt glazed in serendipity with things lining up more perfectly than I dreamed they could. I quickly found work that felt genuinely fulfilling, and the best people who became dear friends. We’ve climbed, skied, surfed, played, laughed, feasted, lounged and danced through life, making memories I’ll cherish always.

Angie McMahon’s “Letting Go” feels like the soundtrack to my Squamish journey. I’ve often felt on top of the world, but there has also been incredibly challenging times, when all I could do was sit and cry. It’s been an extended lesson in letting go, something I’ve always struggled with. I’ve grown and pushed myself more than ever, facing uncomfortable truths and learning from my experiences. I’ve become more comfortable being alone and trying not to obsess over finding romantic love. Friendship is such a magic, enduring, pure kind of love I think often not celebrated enough, and to feel it in such abundance has been a true light. I’ve taken huge steps towards understanding myself, my needs, and feeling competent in my ability to navigate whatever emotional chaos life throws at me. I feel proud.

I’m not quite sure how to move on from a place that’s been the closest I’ve felt to home. Leaving was incredibly hard, and I hope it won’t be forever. To all my Squam homies (could only tag 20), I love you. Thank you. 🧡 Thank you for the great times, for the support when I needed it (and I bloody did at times), and for DANCING! For welcoming me to be completely and unapologetically my weirdest self. I’ve always loved music, but have never experienced such pure joy from dancing until now. The RDC crew and community: you frickin legends. Nuff said.

See ya when I’m looking at ya - in Nelson, the UK or beyond… come visit! ❤️❤️❤️
