🇬🇭 *Unbeaten on the court. Stranded off it.*

Ghana’s Spintex Knights qualified for the Road to BAL Elite 16 after winning all 3 games in Tripoli, Libya. But the club remains stranded over travel costs initially estimated at $33,000.

According to Citi Sports, supporters have since helped settle the $3,000 visa debt. However, the club still needs approximately GH₵350,000 for return flights and is awaiting a response from Ghana’s Ministry of Sports and Recreation regarding financial assistance.

Club co-founder Dr Eric Opoku-Antwi has also revealed that Spintex Knights are considering withdrawing from the Elite 16 because of mounting financial pressures.

The next stage is scheduled for 10–15 November in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
