NOGGIN WATCH 2020: FRIDAY THE 13TH EDITION! 🧠 Y’all: today marks 8 months since I had the tumor biopsy and 8 months + 1 day since Tom Hanks announced he had Covid (which I maintain was the most traumatic thing that happened that week).

Here are the stowaway updates:
—I had another good scan on 10/1! We’re seeing no signs of growth and I’m feeling good as I enter my fifth of these 12 chemo rounds.
—The lil’ seizures have calmed down — probably because I’m learning to turn off the dadgum news.
—^^This means my driver’s license may be reinstated soon! Sure hope my car starts. 🤷🏻‍♀️
—I have some small points of weakness on the left side, so I’ve started daily OT exercises to rebuild coordination and strengthen those neural pathways. (The brain is fascinating. You heard it here first.)
—Hair Watch: From most angles, it looks like a young mullet starring in its own coming of age tale. But I’m grooving on the side buzz, so if anyone is good with clippers and fancies themselves an artist, DM me and let’s COLLAB. 👩‍🎤
—On Halloween, I discovered the reason you keep a radiation mask that looks like a Jason Voorhees mask —> TO USE IT AS YOU WOULD A JASON VOORHEES MASK. And so, it came to pass that a Radioactive Jason creepily stalked our Halloween camping party from the hills above our site. I laughed and I laaaaaughed and so did my weirdest friends. HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH, LOVERS!!!

Throw your tonics in the air and spray them like you just don’t care. One haircut, one flamboyant personality and a dab of Reuzel Pomade usually go hand in hand.

The last day of our most recent 5-day allround course, happy faces all around. And completely justified, given the end results they created during this course!

@the_bloody_butcher going full demon mode on his demo model for the 5 day allround course! And look at those results that our students cooked up during this intense week of training! Knocked it out of the park, as the Americans would say.

Might seem small but a good haircut (and shave) can make a huge difference. So grateful for all of the stylists on my team who donated their time, hands and hearts to help the homeless and less fortunate feel - and look - that much better @westsidethanksgiving. You made real magic in our makeshift salon. Here are some of them at work and then their clients afterward. #hair #haircut #hairstyles #helpinghands #bigheart #doinggood #lookinggood #grateful #thankyou
