Enjoyed spending time this weekend celebrating @scotthanson_co at his bachelor party before he marries @taylortosczak .

You can tell a lot about a man by the company he keeps, and Scott keeps exceptional company. We had real conversations about personal development, growth, relationships, blind spots, business and AI. And we shared some deep belly laughs.

Outside of Burn, I’ve been in monk mode building the next chapter of the business. This weekend reminded me how much I need shiny mirrors around me. People who tell you the truth and help you level up. I’m inspired to start looking into some men’s groups. Really enjoyed making new friends and having some great conversations before going back to the batcave.

Scott and Taylor, I love you both. Couldn’t be happier for you and I can’t wait for your wedding!

This truly was an extraordinary moment in my life.

I found myself unexpectedly crying fat tears of gratitude while searching through @solarpunksummit footage from our Avatara & The Ascenders performance last year that I could post.

Finding this clip of the completion really hit something deep within me.

A feeling of holy disbelief and sheer reverence and awe for what we brought to the stage at Solarpunk last year.

Like…did we really pull that off?!

Avatara and The Ascenders were born on that stage last year.

Casting a full crew of characters composing of rappers, spoken word artists, singers and dancers to take people through the entire story of wizard of oz through a bass bumping DJ set where the audience was engaged and dancing.

@savejlife played right after us and coined it “broadway and bass”

It was a full production and I when I think back to this moment~ I am honestly just super proud.

Proud to myself, proud of my talented friends, proud of having an event in Austin that is a playground for innovative creativity.

And I’m proud to say I will be back on the stage at Solarpunk again next weekend, bringing another bass bumping DJ set with a @bassxchurch !!

Big News!! We’re Engaged! ✨

Dima @forwordceo proposed to me at Unison Festival during DTO’s set~ and it unfolded more beautifully than I ever could have imagined.

For the final song of his set, @dtomusic played “Cosmic Pulse,” his collaboration with Damiyr that I had the honor of remixing into a Bass Track.

Dima joined us onstage and performed his spoken-word piece “Union” over the track while I danced beside him.

When the music ended, Dima kept the microphone in his hand and walked down onto the sand in front of the stage…

What I didn’t know was that he had been scheming with DTO to create this moment. DTO had woven so many of my closest friends into his set, and they were all gathered there to witness what came next.

Dima continued into the most beautiful spoken-word poetic proposal…and I could not stop crying tears of happiness.

From the moment Dima and I met, it felt as though the entire universe had rewritten the plot of existence to conspire for us to be together. Our connection was immediate, undeniable, and unlike anything either of us had experienced before.

And simultaneously, our relationship has invited us into some of our deepest growth and evolution.

If you’re close to us, you know our love story hasn’t been a straight line. We’ve moved through difficult chapters, unexpected turns, and more than a few swirls. Yet somehow, we have continued to spiral back toward one another~ each time returning with deeper honesty, greater understanding, and an even more profound love.

Our journey has taught us that love isn’t about perfection. It’s about continuing to choose one another, grow beside one another, and meet each new chapter with open hearts.

Together, we have built the most beautiful lives. We’ve transformed @influexbrands, birthed @bassxchurch, moved to our dream home in our dream town with our dream community and created a home filled with love alongside our three fur babies: Dillon Wolfbear, Pearl, and Torrey.

It’s a long life and we are just getting started…

My 12th burn. Possibly my favorite.

It had a rough start. I arrived a day early to setup my video booth in center camp, which I manage each year for the org. We had technical difficulties, which meant that I had to work until 3am on Sunday, which happened to be my birthday….The rest of the night was fun however, lasting until sunrise on the first day. Wild. 🌅

After that, we had whiteout dust storms for three days with some decent, less-dusty nights. We explored, danced and played. Zoe and I did a massive art crawl on Tuesday, which felt special. [video on other post]

The rain came by Thursday, which was wild because I had to DJ @abraxasdragon at the airport that night. Come sunrise it then rained HARD 🌧️🤯
…but this made for perfect dust-free conditions from Friday and on. ☀️😎

My DJ set at @camp_soundgarden on burn night was a highlight. That was nuts. The DJ decks weren’t working when I got there, so I had to DJ with two USB sticks, manually syncing the BPM. Barely pulled it off. Link in bio. 🎶

Overall, Zoe and I fell deeper in love, we had so much fun with many epic friends, and learned a lot about ourselves along the way.

I already wish I could go back.

It was a fantastical dream of novel amazement, karmicaly spun together with incredible people and God’s magic. It was a pattern-interrupt of new expression, exhaustingly destroying brain cells while exponentially building new neuro-pathways.

Now that I’m home, I feel two parts of me: The part that manages “default world” routines and a part that yearns for unexplored novelty.

Life is art. Community is aliveness.
Together they make a good combo, which is what makes Burning Man a petri-dish for potential transformation.

Back home from my third Learning Man. The playa feels like a spiritual pilgrimage disguised as a party. Too many moments and lessons for one post, so here’s Part 1 of my takeaways: I’m taping this to the wall for next year. Lmk if you have additions 🫶🏻

1. Prep is the win. A sober, well-rested summer going in served me more than anything else I did. Doing it again next year.

2. It’s a marathon, not a night. After a night or two, or when the rain (or insane dust) rolls in, be OK calling it and saving energy for what’s next. Respect the vessel. Delayed gratification

3. When the night peaks, let it end. Stop chasing sunrise (especially after 9am, go Tf to bed). Next year I catch sunrises on my way up, not on my way down.

4. If you need more caffeine (insert anything else) to keep the party going, that IS the signal. Call it. Go home, eat a full meal (snacks are not fuel), protein shake, good music, rest. Nourishment was my single biggest takeaway this year. Also prep tomorrow’s food tonight, so you’re never choosing between snacks and starving.

5. Supplements support recovery, they don’t replace it. Nothing substitutes for sleep, water, and food. That said, bring 2-3 vials of NAD in case you get sick.

6. Journal from night one. Pen to paper, voice memo, whatever works. The biggest upgrade I made this year.

7. Charge everything before you sleep, and have a backup plan for when a bike breaks. Future you will thank you.

8. Plan your entrance AND your exit. This year’s exodus was rough because someone had an emergency and it put us in hot water fast. Always have a Plan B.

9. Know where your ID, wallet, and keys are at all times. AirTag your bike, your backpack, your favorite coat, your water bottle. Anything you care about, put an AirTag in it.

10. If you meet someone epic, get their info immediately. Out there you might never bump into them again.

I’m keeping a running list of everything that could have amplified this year tenfold. Next year I’m going to be dialed to a level that doesn’t make sense.
