Our youth-led town hall has wrapped, but the work is far from over. 🔥 Young people came together to share what matters to them, name their priorities and connect with community members who can help bring those priorities to life. Their voices deserve more than a seat at the table. They deserve to shape the conversations, the decisions and the future of their communities. We’re grateful to our incredible partners @swopista, @learningactionbuffet, @viaabq and @nnmrocfoundation who helped make this gathering possible and showed up for our young people. A special thank you to Representative Roybal Caballero @adelante_con_patricia and Senator Linda Lopez for joining us and taking the time to hear directly from our youth. This is what it looks like to center youth voice. And we’re just getting started. ✊🏽

What does true freedom and justice look like for young people? As we kick off Youth Justice Action Month, we’re excited to launch a national billboard campaign featuring YFJCo’s Block x Block Fellows answering that question.  Imagining A Future Without Youth Incarceration, part of @thejusttrust’s Justice & The Next 250 campaign, reimagines the future of youth incarceration by harnessing youth voices and cultural strategy. In tandem with partners’ strategic campaign events, the billboards will roll out across New Orleans, Albuquerque, Wichita, and Minneapolis this fall.

Campaign partners: @fflicla @swopista @progeny @legalrightscenter #YJAM2026 reminds us that real justice requires investing in young people, not incarcerating them. When we invest in justice-impacted youth, their power and leadership become the ultimate catalyst to dismantle systemic harms and build a world where every young person can thrive. Shoutout @lilfilmmakers for making this dope reel!
