This is a calling out post.

Why, thank you.

So, in the spirit of starting anyhow, here goes...
My name is Tolulope Olagoke.
I am a writer. A thinker and a talker.
I know stuff, let me not lie (it's not trumpet blowing time aunty).
I'm also very fun, and very smart, but I have issues. The chiefest of them being, drum rollsss...
Procrastination 😑

I did not even have the integrity to call it for what it was until recently. For me, it was simply waiting for the "perfect" time.
Somewhere along the line, Tolu came to realize that that doesn't exist oh (we all do eventually), but instead of working with that realization, what does Tolu do?
She goes on to mentally rename "perfect time" to "ideal time".
Madam simply changed the dress for the problem.

Beautiful people...
You think comparism is a thief of joy? (Don't) try procrastination. Stealing your joy while you watch it waltz away from you. You know, you could get up and snatch your stuff back, but uhh,
"Tomorrow abeg."
My tomorrow came yesterday when I took a refreshing tour of @adaora.lumina's page. The truth had been doing hush-hush in the corners of my mind, but if you know my fave, you'd know her words are fire that cannot easily be doused. Literal fire, burning away every evil (procrastination passes as such). Thank you mama.

However, somewhere in between all my procastinating is a deeply rooted love for new beginnings.
It's a thin line, really.
This post was due yesterday, but I held it off till today, 1st of May, not because it seemed like the "perfect time" or the most "ideal" time, but simply because it marks the beginning of something beautiful.
