@kutclass & @sy_matic posing 10 years later with their collaborative projects “Combinations From The Masters” and “Just Stay Funky Like That”
These two releases were the 2nd and 3rd 12” skipless tools we put out, and Kutclass was instrumental to C&P getting noticed over the atlantic when he toured the USA just as things were starting to connect for us all.
We never did much in the way of promo it was mostly word of mouth back then, and so for the recent combo repress containing both these releases in one disc, we took the opportunity for some pics with our work at a recent @scratchcafebristol .

“Funky Combinations” in stock now at cutandpasterecords.com or catch Kutclass or Symatic outside at a gig to grab a copy in person!

Mannnnn time flies ! When @cutandpasterecords first started , I guess me and @sy_matic were having so much fun, that we never stopped to POSE for pictures, you know the kind where you holding a turntable or mixer (or the records we made) doing cliche hiphop shit. I don’t think there’s a single selfie of us with the records we made. We just got on with doing to do , supporting the community and building as much as we could - we never put ourselves at the front and alway pushed our friends who weren’t getting the shine they deserved . Anyways here’s a pic of us posing looking cool 🤣🤣 We had and still have a sick time and CnP definitely made my life much much much more Illa . RIP NOKA @nmcp_studio and all our fallen stars - “the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long”.

Was fun jamming with @baggylean the other day while he visited England.
Improvised beat using @loopypro controlled by my mixer’s midi buttons. I’m doing the melodic stuff using a behringer td-3 to sequence notes, and it sends those noted to my turntable’s pitch controller so i can grab the tone any time and scratch it without losing my place in the melody.
Really looking forward to dropping some news on our next release very soon!

The LORDCORE tapes were a huge influence and a big part of the drive on me to start doing my own beats on a looper pedal! So yeah I'm pretty happy with it!
