🧡 This was my first time ever visiting Rembang Regency in Central Java! Had it not been for work, I likely never would have planned a trip there • 🧡 Located along the coast of the Java Sea, this regency isn't particularly large; even its town center is modest in size. However, being here gave me the perfect opportunity to explore PSIR Rembang—the pride of the regency, which is nicknamed the "Salt City" due to its reputation as a major salt producer • 🤍 PSIR Rembang partners with the apparel brand @arafsapparel.rembang to supply all their match gear, including jerseys • 🤍 Shortly after arriving in Rembang, I headed straight to the ARAFS store located right in front of Krida Stadium—the home ground of the team known as Laskar Dampo Awang • 💙 There was still some stock left of the jerseys from last season—the campaign that saw PSIR competing in the Liga 4, the level where the club currently languishes. Indeed, the team remains stuck at this tier, a situation made even more disheartening by the events of the previous season • 💙 The 2025/26 PSIR jersey stands as a silent witness to a grim tale : the chaos that erupted during the second leg of the 2025/2026 Central Java Liga 4 semifinal between PSIR Rembang and Persak Kebumen at Krida Stadium on Thursday, February 12, 2026 • ⚠️ That match ended in disqualification and heavy fines imposed by the Central Java PSSI Disciplinary Committee • 🆘 The cause? Home supporters refused to accept the defeat and disputed refereeing decisions—including the disallowance of a bicycle-kick goal scored by a PSIR player. Hundreds of fans stormed the pitch and mobbed the former FIFA referee, Dwi Purba Adi Wicaksana, while a player wearing jersey number 99, Rudy Santoso, engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct.
