If you're a Harry Potter fan, or a fan of walking tours, you must book a HP walking tour and request Kieran ( @syckieran ) as your guide. His enthusiasm and knowledge of all things Potter & Edinburgh is so fun and engaging. He easily rounded up 21 of us tourists and made the tour light, educational, and fulfilling for HP fans and non-fans alike. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A must-do. Thanks, Kieran.

Day 4 was one of my favorites. I took a day trip up to Edinburgh, Scotland and did three walking tours: Edinburgh Castle, Harry Potter, and Haunted Underground Vaults.

Today my best bud and I soaked up all that Edinburgh has to offer in terms of Harry Potter

⚡️ First stop was @museumcontextuk to look at all their HP collection, spells, wands and crystals 🪄
⚡️ Second stop was at @theelephant.house for a bite to eat and to taste of their famous Butter Beer. Fun fact - J.K Rowling spent many of her days writing the HP series in this store
⚡️ Lastly, we did a wonderful ‘HP location tour’ with the very funny and knowledgeable @syckieran where we got to see the actual Tom Riddle (AKA Tomas Riddell) grave and many other inspirations for the HP franchise

Harry Potter tour. Discovering the amazing stories behind J K Rowling trajectory in her ride to discover and write this great series of books. Edimburgh served perfectly well to inspire her 😍🤩 No wonder why!!

What a wonderful way to spend part of my birthday doing a tour around Edinburgh of the places that inspired JK Rowling.

Kieran was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable and we all had lots of fun, though at the start I did get sorted into Slytherin house lol (but we did beat Gryffindor in the quiz) x

- Yesterday was our last full day in Scotland and we went on the Edinburgh Harry Potter Walking Tour.
It was so cool to see a bunch of inspirations for characters and settings.
Thanks to @syckieran for making it a magical experience. We even got to draw our houses from a sorting hat, ofcource I drew Gryffindor.

Scotland turned out pretty fun. While it had it's lows, like 6+ hours on a bus. It also had it's highs like being able to see Loch Ness (no Nessy though). Heard some fun facts about edinburgh's history. I also did a Harry Potter tour with a great guide and was on the winning team of the harry potter quiz (idk a lot about Harry Potter) so go Ravenclaw i guess! Also met new people, be it in tours or performing on the streets. All in all it was a fun trip, and i'll probably be back again!
