Lately, I’ve realized I need to reconnect with the love of shooting. These creative style shoots, like the one in this reel, are helping me bring the art back into my photography. It feels good to shoot for the pure joy of it again.

Oh just wait for these edits!

When Sy asked me to capture her son’s first birthday shoot, my answer was immediately yes.

When a great photographer trusts another photographer to document something this important, that’s an honor.

But this one meant even more. Sy is family to me. We’ve built a brother-and-sister type of bond over the years, and knowing Kroix’s story makes moments like these even more special.

He’s truly a miracle baby. ❤️
