Q4 of 2024 🥰💫

My word for 2024 was peace. The Lord graciously revealed areas where I did not fully trust him this year. He healed my heart of doubt, hurt, and ways for me to let go of control and allow him to lead. He made our relationship sweeter. He taught me true peace. Little did I know he would use this year to teach me what supernatural peace with him looks like no matter my circumstances. I serve a loving and generous God. I had an incredible year with family and friends making wonderful memories. I am thankful I had a year of growth. I am expectant for 2025 and what the Lord has in store.

Early yesterday morning my Pawpaw went to be with the Lord. I don’t even know where to begin. Words can’t even describe how much I love this man and how he has impacted my life.

There’s so many memories we had growing up whether it was playing wiffleball out in the yard, watching Alabama football together, making Drake and I milkshakes every night before bed when we lived with him and Nana for two years, family Christmas out at the land every year, and so much more. He was the most God fearing man I’ve ever met, and led so many people throughout his life to Christ including myself.

Life without him is gonna be tough moving forward, but I find comfort in knowing that he is where he’s worked his whole life to be, and that is in Heaven with the Lord. I will take the wisdom and lessons he has taught me over the years, carry them on with my future kids/ grandkids, and can only hope to be half the father and grandfather he was.

Pawpaw, I love you so much and this isn’t a goodbye, but see you soon❤️
