I had the BEST time taking my grandkids to see CeCe Winans on the Come Worship Tour! What an incredible night filled with powerful worship, beautiful music, and memories we’ll cherish for years to come.

Tonight we had a chance to celebrate our Sydney!

Nina and I are beyond proud to see Sydney recognized as a recipient of the Frisco Bowl “Team Behind the Team” Scholarship, presented by Town and Country Roofing.

We’ve watched her grow, work, serve, push herself, and become her own person. Knowing the journey hasn’t always been easy makes this recognition even more meaningful.

We’re grateful to everyone who encouraged Sydney, believed in her, and helped create this opportunity.

Tonight, we celebrate YOU, Sydney Marie. This is only the beginning.

We had a great time celebrating @nina_simons birthday last night as a family. A delicious meal and our go to family game is Imposter. We will play it anywhere. And of course @sydn.ey_s turns everything into a photoshoot. 🤣 Loved it all. It was a great night!

My mom was right that this time will go by so fast and before you know it that little baby you were holding would be a senior in high school. 17 years ago today, you made your mother and I the happiest parents in the world.

From day one, we knew you were special. You are outgoing, smart, witty, and full of life. Your presence brings energy to every room, your humor keeps us laughing, and your mind continually amazes me.

Watching you grow into the young woman you’re becoming has been one of the greatest joys of my life… and yes, the cause of several of the gray hairs that keep popping up.

I’m proud of your strength, your heart, and the unique way God made you.

Happy 17th Birthday, Syd. Never forget that you are loved, you are covered, and you were created for purpose.

Got the opportunity to build the BGV vocal arrangement for an upcoming gospel record. Started from a raw dummy lead — built the harmonies, drafted the BGVs, and got to hear it come alive in the room.

Loved every second of the process. Grateful to collaborate with new creatives in a room where so much music has come to life. 🫂
