POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Today was Sydney’s last day with us and I spent basically the entire day trying not to cry. And now I’m sitting in the parking lot crying, so clearly that went well. 😭💔

It’s hard to explain how much this girl has meant to all of us and how quickly she became family.

Sydney wasn’t there for the early days of this practice, but somehow within approximately one week she had been fully briefed on the entire history, knew the background of all of our trauma 😂, understood every long standing inside joke and was caught up on years worth of stories she absolutely did not ask for.

There was never really a “new girl” phase. She just became one of us. She learned our personalities, our quirks, the looks across the room and the things we didn’t even have to say out loud. Before I knew it, I genuinely couldn’t remember what it felt like before she was here.

And God, did she make us laugh.

The amount of days we have belly laughed until we were literally crying because of this girl is probably wildly unprofessional 😂. The kind where nobody can breathe, we’re trying to pull ourselves together because there are actual patients in the office, and then someone makes eye contact and it starts all over again. 😂😂😂

Somewhere along the way Sydney stopped being someone who worked for me. She became my friend. She became our family. And I think one of the strangest parts of owning a business is that people can walk through your doors as employees and somehow, without you realizing when it happened, become people you genuinely love.

Sydney, thank you for choosing this team. Thank you for cheering us on, showing up every day and giving it your all. Thank you for sharing your life with us and letting us into it.

I’m so sad I don’t get to see you every day anymore, but I’m genuinely so excited for you and this next adventure. I want nothing but the absolute best for you. I hope you always know you have a family here and a place you can always come back to.

We love you so much, Sydney. You will be so, so missed. 💔😭
