Race day… it’s like no other. A moment made special by months of preparation, intention, and, well, miles. The journey is deeply personal, but never one we take entirely alone.

Tomorrow, we’ll see runners take on 26.2 miles for all kinds of reasons. Some running for PRs, some running in honor of those who can’t, and many taking on their very first marathon. Every journey is different, and every start line has a story behind it.

To everyone from Dogtown Run Club and beyond taking on the streets of Chicago tomorrow, we’re cheering you on! Trust your training, soak it all in, and most importantly, have so much fun! 🤩

Throwback Thursday to the beer mile that sparked this year’s event 🍻

These photos from last year’s beer mile, captured by Josh Fajardo, helped tell the story that became this year’s Beer Mile North American Classic. We’re excited to have Josh back behind the lens on July 11!

Quick little dump from the weekend. Race recap. This one was about the people. It was so lovely to spend the weekend with my friends watching them race whether it was their first marathon or their seventh. Everyone came to mesa to move something in their soul. Secondly I was reinvigorated with my love for running with every step of the half with the lovely @monica.fieck (our 4th half together) and my most wonderful @jdmuf. I was reminded that even when I don’t feel well or I am under trained I can show up for myself and my friends. #marathon #run #fyp #discover

Smiling for a new weekly mileage PR! There’s something magical about the turn of a year. There’s both uncertainty and possibility. Running feels like hitting reset on a journey that’s always unfolding, always becoming. Next stop - @mesamarathon

This morning we logged some Frosty Leprechaun Challenge miles on our 8 mile Saturday run in Forest Park! Next Saturday, 1/10, we will meet at @protagonistcafe at 9 am for a run along the 1.5 mile graffiti wall South of the Arch to admire all of the @paintlouisofficial art, then through the Arch grounds. Check the link in our bio to view the strava event! See ya there!

There’s nothing quite like the roar of a world major. To our DTRC runners who took on @chimarathon - congratulations!! Your hard work, dedication, and absolute joy came to life this Sunday. What an incredible accomplishment (and a few shiny PRs to top it off)! We can’t wait to celebrate you more at tomorrows group run 🤩
