A dream that has lived in my heart for so long is finally becoming real… Millie’s by SK is opening a storefront!!!

Millie’s has always been about so much more than clothes. It was built on legacy, family, and love, and every little detail of this space has been chosen to tell that story.

The pink azaleas painted across the front are especially meaningful. Pink azaleas were Millie’s favorite flowers. My dad grew up on Daughtry Lane with pink azaleas blooming in both the front and back yard. A little piece of her that we now get to carry with us into this new chapter.

What started as a name honoring my great-grandmother has grown into something I could have only dreamed of. And now, seeing her flowers painted across the place that will soon become Millie’s home feels like everything has come full circle.

I cannot wait to open these doors, welcome you inside, and share everything we’ve been working on.

Such an inspiring afternoon at the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce PROPEL Women’s Event, The Power of Color! 💗

Hearing from Mary Catherine Kinney was such a reminder that success is about so much more than a title…it’s about how you show up, the relationships you build, and the people who shape you along the way. I loved hearing her share how Albany and the people here helped make her who she is today. A community can leave such a lasting impact, and I’m so grateful Southwest Georgia has done the same for me. I truly wouldn’t trade this community for the world. 🤍

Molly King with House of Colour brought such a fun perspective on how color can influence our confidence and the way we show up, and Gracie Taylor wrapped it all together with a beautiful reminder of the power of supporting and pouring into one another.

So honored to play a small part in an event like this as a Community Sponsor and grateful for opportunities that bring women in our community together to connect, learn, and grow!
