It’s unreal how long it’s been already and I haven’t had a moment to put together this post! Lots of gratitude incoming... Bluebell showed up for her third year at @lojmasquerade and this time she had a little bit more of a hand in the magic ✨ So honored to have co-directed our beautiful An’Havia with the incredible team of @mf.puig and @maddmaddigans whose hard work made our home shine. THANK YOU. And thank you @deneenmelody for trusting this little bluejay faerie to fly forward. AND THANK YOU to our beautiful cast of fae & creatures for your hard work and dedication! If you were in The Haven this year, you got to see firsthand the absolute magnificence everyone brought to our faerie home. Plus, having two new little birdies in my dearest friends @m_effingmari and @avintagelark made my birdie heart sing! 🤍 💚 🩵 Thank you to all who showed up and made the weekend more magical than I could’ve ever imagined and to those who also supported outside of the ball. I can’t even express how grateful I am to have you & this place. Thank you also @shawnstrider, @jacquieadorni, & Corrinne and the whole LOJ team for your tireless work in crafting another unbelievable year in the realms. ‘Til the next time the fae romp 🩵 🪶 #labyrinthmasquerade #lojmasquerade #labyrinthmasqueradeball #labyrinth #faerie #fae

Thank you to @blackimagecenter for having us at their Black Family Archive event yesterday! They created such a warm and inviting space to celebrate community and archival work, we are so grateful to have been a part of it. It was pure joy to provide access to playback for tapes that have not been seen in a very long time. We were happy to collaborate and follow BIC's lead with wanting private but communal viewing stations set up so intimate moments of sharing were stewarded with care. This experience and technical setup has helped us conceptualize the work we want to provide going forward for home video day events. And we are over the moon to have made so many connections with folks who are truly invested in the work of their personal and family archiving -- getting to talk about these things and resource share with like minded individuals is bliss. Thank you so much BIC and our lovely volunteers!

The three pictures depict different groups attending stone, paper, and painting techniques courses. Although they are separated during classes, they come together to enjoy the vibrant life in the beautiful city of Amelia.
