I’m so proud of these kiddos and I’m so grateful for them and their hard work! I got the unplanned privilege to perform in my 4th and final AirJam Opening Exhibition!

This is a bittersweet moment because this is basically my child. I was the first ever opening number for AirJam my freshman year after my ballet teacher(love you Bev) saw my choreo I did for fun and showed it to the AirJam chair that year(love you Payten!) and I’ve choreographed an opening number every year since! My freshman year I really wanted something I could call mine when I got to ball state. Something that could be my legacy and I’m fortunate enough that this is that. Freshman year Chris wouldn’t believe all the things he’s accomplished in his 4 years here.

I want to thank all the people who performed with me(they’re all tagged lol) and I want to thank my son Jacob for all of his hard work. He was supposed to be the one doing it but I had to step in for him while he heals an injury. He worked so hard too and I wish I didn’t have to go on for him. I lastly wanna thank Gwennie for being my rock during this process and helping me out and picking up my pieces. She kept me sane this entire time and I’m so glad I get to pass to torch of this to her. Someone who cares just as much as I do about this. Can’t wait to see what you do next year!!

I also want to shoutout and give credit to Jordan Bee(@jordan.beee)! With permission, I took inspiration from some of her choreo from the summer! It was just too good not to be inspired to use some of it! Thanks for your insane talent and letting me put my own spin on your artistry! I hope you all enjoy this fun number, I had a lot of fun doing it and had a lot of memories doing it for the last time.

Last shoutout is to each and every person who’s opened with me in the past. Especially all my classmates from year 1, I wouldn’t have had a number and wouldn’t have had this opportunity if you guys didn’t agree to learn a fun lil number for no reason! I’m grateful for each soul attached to this!
