It was definitely a great day to be a member of the Amherst lady’s cross country team. After a long bus ride down to Bemus Point golf course, the tigers were hungry, and after walking the course, we realized it’s a good thing that we eat hills for breakfast ⛰️With a very anxious wait for the correct results, the tigers came out on top by one point, winning the overall Girl’s Class B race, earning them the Section 6 Champions title and a ticket to the state meet💪Everyone put their heart into this race and it definitely paid off🫀 This team races for more than just themselves, but for each other as well.
Catch you next week in Verona, NY for the NYS Championships‼️
