We could listen to your voices worship Him all day 🤍

What a night to hear 50+ women gather together on one of the last nights of the Summer, worship God in a backyard, and pray with one another.

This is what sisterhood rooted in faith looks like. This is what following Jesus looks like.

When we don’t have the words, praising Him anyway. When we don’t know what to pray, asking the Holy Spirit and our sisters to intercede on our behalf.
When life continues to go on, we continue to worship a God who will never fail.

We can go back to the basics and leave full, knowing we never have to walk alone.

A little appreciation post for my girl Sydni ✨💖
Where do I even start? 🥹 Sydni has been a ride-or-die since 2019. She started as one of my amazing seniors and quickly became not only a dear friend, but also my right-hand woman in Lindsey Bini Photography.

She’s been by my side at countless weddings and senior sessions, snapping photos, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, rocking bridal shows, helping me after Bryson was born, and pretty much jumping in wherever I needed her. She’s been such a huge part of LBP for almost the entire time I’ve been in business, and I can’t imagine these years without her.

Her talent, dedication, and heart of gold have made such a difference—not just in my business, but in my life. Sydni, I adore you with my whole heart and I’m so excited to see all the incredible things you’re going to do in Delaware. They have no idea how lucky they are to have you. 💖

Here’s to your next adventure, love you Syd! 🫶🏼

Digital photography students jumped into the darkroom today to make photograms! A camera-less form of photography, photograms are made by placing objects on light sensitive paper and exposed under the enlargers. Where the light hits the paper surface it will turn black but where the objects rest will stay white or grey creating a silhouette or ghostly image. Wm Henry Fox Talbot called his use of the process photogenic drawing. Man Ray called his Rayographs. We see this simple process in other prominent artists work like botanist Anna Atkins and Laszlo Maholy Nagy.

Today, digital students stepped back in time by making traditional wet plate collodion tintypes. Invented in 1851 by Frederick Scott Archer, collodion is a beautiful but finicky process. Students learned how to use basic motions on the large format camera and how to pour and develop the plates.
