London Day 3: Met with Sydney to go to the Globe Theatre! It was such a phenomenal show, and we had the best time!! We took the standing room tickets and were able to experience The Globe in that historic way which was unforgettable!

⚓️ ANYTHING GOES 🛟 — Lots of firsts here. First show after high school, first show at NCP, first time growing a mustache… second time doing a tango on stage though. If I had a nickel… It’s hard to describe the impact community theatre has on the soul, especially mine. It’s been one of the greatest highlights of my life, and it’s something I absolutely will always cherish and continue doing. Being able to meet and re-meet so many amazing and talented individuals is an honor and a privilege that I cannot and will never take for granted. I put my thank-yous in the post this time, because I think appreciation for the community is one crucial part that keeps *community* theatre alive. Being a chill British dude is definitely not new to me, but each one allows me to explore different parts of life and how to just…live. Evelyn is a great example of someone who just goes through life and learns to live and let live. It’s such a testament to the world we live in today, and I think, as ironic as it sounds, we can all take a page out of Evelyn’s book. I love community theatre, I love all theatre, and I love doing the things I, and so many others, love. And of course, much love to you all. Step in it! ♥️

Behind every giant peach is an incredible team. 🍑 As we get ready to open Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach this Friday, we want to take a moment to celebrate the four women who have guided this production from the very beginning. Director Susan Twiehaus, Music Director Amanda Stemen, Choreographer Madelaine Comte, and Stage Manager Sydney Cochran have poured countless hours into creating a joyful, imaginative, and inspiring experience for our cast and audiences alike. From the first production meetings to rehearsals, choreography sessions, music rehearsals, cueing lights and sound, problem-solving, encouraging performers, and bringing a giant peach to life, their passion and dedication are evident in every moment of this production.
