The love I have for this place is never endings.

For as long as I can remember, summer has meant camp. Every year has looked a little different, but this one was unlike any other.

The theme this week was that Kingdom workers are loved, rescued, changed, and sent. I thought those were just four words, but they became a reminder of who God says we are.

If I’m being honest, this week wasn’t easy. There were moments where old memories resurfaced, emotions I thought I’d already worked through came rushing back, and I wrestled with the feeling of belonging. Knowing this was my last MOVE as a student made everything feel even heavier.

Our small group leaders weren’t able to be with us, so the seven graduating seniors in our group led ourselves. At first, that felt intimidating, but it quickly became one of the biggest blessings of the week. We leaned on one another, asked hard questions, shared honestly, and challenged each other to pursue Christ. I don’t think our conversations would’ve looked the same any other way.

This week, I opened up in ways I never have before. I shared parts of my story that I’ve carried quietly for years. Every conversation felt like another weight being lifted off my shoulders. Instead of carrying everything alone, I experienced the freedom that comes from living in the light.

Over the last year, my faith has become one of the biggest parts of who I am. Not because I’ve figured everything out, but because I’ve seen God’s faithfulness over and over again. Looking back, I can see He wasn’t just preparing me for this week—He was preparing me for what’s next.

As bittersweet as it is knowing this was my last MOVE as a student, I don’t think it’s really an ending. It’s a sending.

I’m leaving Michigan with a lighter heart, a stronger faith, and a renewed purpose. I’m ready to go wherever God calls me next—to boldly share my testimony and remind people that no matter where they’ve been or what they’re carrying, they are deeply loved, rescued by grace, changed through Christ, and never alone.

Loved. Rescued. Changed. Sent.
