9 events in 3 weeks for @drmartensofficial and their “With Bouncing Soles” campaign.

A special experience being able to shoot an insane variety of events that all celebrated real people and their art across London and Manchester. I feel so lucky to have met all the talented people involved.

A special thanks to @morgan.mlj @yasups @sophiejewes the @weareraven team and everyone at the Dr.Martens store.

Catalog deep, can put a sound Bwoy permanently to sleep or mek all the girls dem feel sweet, or make all the ganja smokers sing and repeat, the only Dancehall deejay who has the whole ting complete, national charts and rules pon street. You see it 👊🏾

The Manchester Bounce: A celebration of soundsystem culture.

Dance Policy and @soup_manchester, in partnership with @drmartensofficial, are celebrating the communities that built Manchester’s scene today - with an intergenerational lineup of artists hailing from the city’s suburbs of Hulme, Moss Side, Wythenshawe, and beyond.

Alongside the party, we’re featuring an exhibition by Hulme’s staple photographer @hulmeloonies1 and a conversation hosted by @privatejoypops that examines the past, present, and future of Manchester’s soundsystem culture.

Join us on the 15th October for an evening of music, photography, and discussion about the things that make our soles bounce.

Entry requires a free RSVP ticket and may be subject to venue capacity, tickets on RA.

Thank you to @joecotch @weareraven

Backstage photos with the beautiful singer Sylvia @sylviatella ✨ Her strong, beautiful voice + always good vibes loving personal. Love that she’s done so much work with my producers Mafia & Fluxy too — true our lovers rock queen.

And my favorite drummer Fagan @trevor.riddims 🥁 Crazy full circle: When I was 17 I saw Lee Scratch Perry @lee_scratch_perry & @beastieboys in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Years later I found out Fagan was on drums at that exact gig! Now we play together in so many bands.

Massive respect to them and Love my music family 💚💛❤️ 🙏
