As we prepare for the release of our second @chorusofcourage album, we are filled with beautiful memories of the first Chorus of Courage retreat. Storytellers, songwriters and facilitators met in the stunning @thelimberlostforest where they spent a meaningful week connecting, sharing and creating. We want to express our gratitude for all of the folks who made the first Chorus of Courage experience so special. Much gratitude to @mpssas1 for their guidance and every person who has been a part of this journey. #chorusofcourage #mpssas #collectivehealing

I don’t travel to escape life, I travel to remember what it feels like to be fully alive 🌎✈️ Here’s to the women who are choosing to live fully, to dance at the edges of discomfort, and refuse to let themselves shrink 🙌🏼 Are you with me?

The more I experience the world, the less I judge it.

The more people I meet, places I visit, and stories I hear, the more I realize there isn’t just one right way to live, love, heal, work, or find meaning.

Travel has taught me that most people are doing the best they can with the experiences, beliefs, and circumstances they’ve been given.

Life can be expansive if we choose to see it that way. The choice is yours to make ;)

And for me, experience has made me more compassionate, more understanding, and more empathetic towards others. We all just want to be loved.

I don’t know about you but this way of seeing the world feels expansive.

Yandara 3.0 !!! ✨
•
This April I spent an entire lunar cycle at @yandarayoga in Baja, Mexico. I first found my way to this slice of paradise nearly two decades ago for a 200 hour training and also visited 10 years ago when I completed my first 300 hour teacher training + Ayurveda immersion. This place and the people who hold it have helped shaped my path in incredible ways and for this I am forever grateful. Yoga Trade would most likely not exist without Yandara. 🕉️
•
As excited as I was to return for a third visit, I was also a bit hesitant as I did not want to jade my wonderful memories from here. Also, I had already completed this training, was it silly to do it again? I was also aware that the space had evolved into hosting retreat groups, and now has a pool and more upscale accommodations + amenities and wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the new changes as I generally like to keep it roots.
•
I am SOOOOOO happy I got below the neck and followed my heart and experienced this magical month. Yandara is the real deal. I have been to many yoga centers around the world and I believe this is one of the most underrated, amazing, and affordable places out there. We had a wonderful and harmonious group of 12 students, a holy trinity of 3 lead teachers, and 1 playful dog. We were also graced by other great teachers, staff, volunteers, guests from other programs, and other furry friends on site. Blessed to spend time where this desert oasis meets the sea. 🌊🌵
•
After this month I am now feeling; re-inspired in yoga and life as a student and a teacher, a stronger faith in humanity, a deeper love for nature, grateful to have a new cohort of life long yoga teacher family, and actually really appreciative for all the new comfort upgrades at Yandara like the cozy glamping tent, new studio spaces, and refreshing pool;)
•
If you’re considering visiting Yandara....DO IT. They offer heaps of heart led programming. Even the greatest teachers can evolve. Feel the love. Learn. Practice. Sing. Dance. Connect. Eat well. Live outside. Be together. Just be. Enjoy the sunshine! 🌞

I’ll just be here…not waiting to live my life. Not waiting for the perfect moment. Not waiting until I have everything figured out. Not asking permission. But fully just going for it…my passions, my dreams, they aren’t negotiable…they are priorities ✨🍃 So I’ll be here, just living this little life of mine the best way I know how to 💁🏻‍♀️
