Recently spent a day with Carmen and Jackson of @california_dirt shooting the opening of their new nest in Echo Park. Here are some of my favorite shots while we got hyped on surfing, ate our @ggiata wraps and talked about how cool @storiesbooksandcafe is

As summer comes to an end, I’ve been reflecting on how much this season pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I made an effort to attend more events, meet new people, and build connections within the design industry. I’m grateful for every conversation, opportunity, and perspective I’ve gained along the way.

There’s something beautiful about how connected we all are, like branches growing from the same tree. You meet one person, and somehow they know someone who knows someone else. A simple conversation can become a friendship, an opportunity, a collaboration, or the next step in your career.

Sometimes growth comes from being surrounded by people who challenge the way you think, introduce you to something new, or simply remind you that there is more than one way to approach the world.

I’ve been spending the last few months putting together a proper hi-fi listening area in my apartment and I had the pleasure of collaborating with @symbolaudio to help tie it all together! 🎶

So @l_d_f_official - we loved you!! A lovely time to appreciate great design. We wanted to do a post with a favourite from each team member but frankly no one could pick just one. We’ve kind of managed to curtail it to a select group of favourites from us all and these are in no particular order (because we wouldn’t have been able to agree):
1 & 2) @residentnz showroom. Gorgeous
3, 4 & 5) @2lgstudio’s You Can Sit With Us - Messy Heart celebrating handmade craftsmanship. They also showcased their new fabric and incredible lighting plus gave us a tarot reading (stop with your talents now!)
6) Carding @materialmatters.design - sculptural lighting crafted directly from recycled cotton and textile waste
7 & 8) @usmmodularfurniture x @symbolaudio Record shop - super cool and organised, what’s not to love?
9 & 10) the fabulous @camillewalala’s entrance transformation @sketchlondon
11 & 12) @leebroom sultry 70s glamour in the chant chambers

We know we’ve missed some! Love to know your favourites if you’ve read this far 😉❤️

Calling all vinyl and design heads! 🎶

This week, @TheVinylFactory has teamed up with @USMmodularfurniture and @HypeBeastuk to bring the USM Record Shop to London Design Festival (@l_d_f_official).

Taking over USM’s Marylebone showroom, the space brings together music and design, with a specially curated selection of limited-edition vinyl from The Vinyl Factory, USM Speaker Modules by @symbolaudio, and live DJ sets.

The collaboration explores the enduring relationship between music and design through talks, performances and a programme of activations throughout the week.

The USM Record Shop is open until the first week of October. Come by and explore the collection before it closes.
