I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately, so I wanted to pop in to say Happy New Year and finally fill in the gaps. Looking back, 2025 was a whirlwind. It started on the highest note possible with our engagement (which is actually the last thing I posted to Instagram 😅). 💍 Shortly after, I packed my bags for a 90-day solo work assignment in Italy, leaving my fiancé holding down the fort with Zora and Stormi back home in Duluth.🐈 Doing long-distance right after getting engaged was a challenge, but if you know Nic and I and the course of our relationship, you know we trained for this. Living and working abroad was an experience I’ll certainly never forget, and I’m so grateful we were able to get Nic over for an action-packed visit. While my Facebook friends got to see some of those travel updates, I’ll admit I went completely offline everywhere when I returned in August. My time with IKONICS/SAATI came to an unexpected close shortly after I got back. It was a shock, but it forced me to pause and really evaluate what I wanted to build for myself. Since September, I haven’t just been "offline"... Quite the opposite actually. I’ve been heads-down creating something entirely my own. I’ve spent the last few months pouring my energy into a new vision, and I’m finally ready to share it. This year is going to look a lot different, and I couldn't be more excited. Big news coming soon - stay tuned. 🥂✨
