POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Earlier this month Fabian @symptm and I released ambient-experiment-esque music we made during year and a bit, emerging amidst teaching and learning sound synthesis.

Full album named "smthngthtstrtswthl" listenable on Fabian's Bandcamp https://korridor.bandcamp.com/album/smthngthtstrtswthl, and whenever connected shared via Soulseek.

---

Since first encounter, we exchange about our respective passions of molecule making and music making, whys and hows of doing so with its challenges and rewards, the effects and influence of created phenomena in societies historically and presently and vice versa, plentitude of analogies and differences among pursuing these art forms/sciences/vocations. And derive great delight from making something new compelled by curiosity and experimentality.

Been interesting to gain hands-on insight into how electrical signals modulated with intention can become sense-able, enabling better informed deepened appreciation of the amounts of care and consideration concentrated into much of music out here endlessly available.

I believe one day it will be as fine to share freely about molecular synthesis processes and outcomes as it is with music synthesis ones - instead of facing risks of censored content removal or fines, and witnessing matters of creation into which one pours one's heart poured down the drains or being burnt.

Until then, enjoy these six sound-based patterns-in-time formulations - experientially plausibly relaxing tranquillizers and somnifacient calmants, serenity-spawning contemplation-catalyzing near-nootropics and potential mind-expanding/elevating/alleviating, fun, playfulness, lovingness, cosiness, curiosity and patience-encapsulating releasers - cooked up with love.

Xrgon (#3): alive and aloud last night! Lots of learning, play-full tool. Soldered at first try under superb guidance this syntetizer Fabian has reverse engineered from original Orgon Systems Enigiser, named after orgone energy theory of Wilhelm Reich whose work fate was what inspired Sasha Shulgin to indefinitely preserve his by publishing PIHKAL and TIHKAL.

Amid rhythms shifting, polymetric and free,
Korridor’s sound embraces harmony’s decree.

Fragments, once apart, now find connection sweet,
A tapestry woven, where art and souls meet.

A shaman he stands, invoking trance’s might,
His drums reverberate, and souls fill with light.

A tribe entranced, in states pure and changed,
Yearning and ecstasy, in bodies entwined, estranged.

Korridor, the gifted one, known as Opposition,
Unveils his creation, a beauty in rendition.

Behold “The Land”, bestowed upon our ears,
A masterpiece crafted, will shine for years.

Opposition - The Land (Original Mix)
