POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Salmon Sisters are five kids from down the street that play the kind of music that makes you twist and shout.

The band welcome us to the fun house with their debut album Taller Than Normal. Their lyrics echo realness, love and confusion, and the guitars and drums are punk and playful.

Salmon Sisters have raw power — it can’t be beat.

Listen to @salmonsisters_ on SYN 90.7FM or syn.org.au.

Introducing @publicfigures4eva as our Feature Artist of the month.

Evie Vlah, Gigi Argiro, Lakota Vella and Mary-Lou Hylands are punks that make music with purpose. The band’s grizzly and guttural guitar rock is an expression of identity, power, and resistance.

Public Figures are here now, and 4eva.

Introducing the enchanting @killqueenie as this month’s Feature Artist at SYN.

Raised on Lutruwita/Tasmania’s vast, open landscapes and now based in Naarm/Melbourne, Queenie’s work carries a sense of expansiveness, self assurance and feminine power.

She may have begun as an alter ego emerging from the ashes of heart break, but with her new album Pleasance, Queenie is no longer stepping into a persona, she is stepping into herself.

Listen to Queenie now on SYN 90.7FM or syn.org.au.

Introducing @robertbaxtr as our Feature Artist of the month.

Robert Baxter has built a career on refusing to sit still. Raised on Yorta Yorta Country before relocating to Naarm, the nonbinary Taiwanese/Australian artist treats vulnerability, desire, and humour as the same material, worked and reworked until the line between sincerity and irony disappears.

PARTYANIMAL is the fullest expression of that instinct yet — a record that tracks a night out in real time, from the first drink to the drive home at sunrise.

PARTYANIMAL is out on September 18. In the meantime, check out their feature tracks:
