If you want to improve your overhead press, start by slowing it down.

Control first. Load second. 💪🏽

The best cardio isn’t always the hardest.

The right intensity depends on the adaptation you’re trying to achieve.

Train with purpose.

Find your groove

There’s no single “right” way to warm up. But here’s how I approach it, and how I coach it.

Warm-up sets are not a box to tick before the “real” work starts. Use them as information. Every rep is a chance to check in to see how your body feels today, is anything nagging, where’s my energy actually at versus where I think it should be.

Slow down on these sets. Feel the movement. Notice what’s tight, what’s firing, what needs a bit more attention before you load it up. That awareness is what lets you train smart instead of just training hard.

Really enjoyed hosting our first mobility workshop last week at @synqstudios

One thing we kept coming back to was the idea that mobility isn’t about forcing your body into bigger ranges of motion. It’s about having the mobility to do the things that matter to you.

Looking forward to running more sessions like this.

I sat down with Dom & Monae of Synq Studios to have an honest conversation about why they started, the community they have built and why branding still matters, 16 months in ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Jewish Care Families & Jami Wellbeing Event 💜

It was so special to come together and share such a calming and powerful sound bath experience – we hope you left feeling a little more grounded, restored and connected.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, @synqstudios, to Helen from @breathe.in.sound for guiding such a beautiful session, and to the Jewish Care Families Committee for all their hard work in bringing the event together.

Funds raised from the event will support The Dangoor Children and Young Person’s Service, which provides vital mental health support for secondary-school-aged young people – helping to bridge the growing gap between need and available services.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along and made the evening what it was ✨

Kicking off a new 12 week block with the team 🤝

This one’s all about slowing things down and getting back to what really matters: the fundamentals.

Dialling in positions, tempo, and the small details that make a big difference over time.

It’s easy to overlook the basics, but they’re the reason progress sticks.

And it’s not just something we coach, it’s how we train too. As coaches, we’re right in it, holding ourselves to the same standard and constantly refining our own movement.

Simple done well, consistently.

That’s the focus for the next 12 weeks🎯
