A little late to the after party, but how’d my demons look? #WOD2026

4/26/2026 @sypher_dancecrew First world of dance as a director and second world of dance ever… at 22 years old I would’ve never guessed four years ago when I started dancing that I would do something like this. Have the opportunity to choreograph such a set with this many dancers, face the mental challenges of leading a team, dealing with life and still trying to have a positive attitude.

But also bonding with people, getting to understand everyone on a deeper level as I saw them every week for awhile.. being able to pull this small community together in a city where the dance community is frankly mean, broken and just separated. It is surreal to feel this passion from some of my dancers and see them trust me to give them chorey and a concept, I’m grateful people have taken the chance to believe in me as I myself am still learning who I am in the dance world. Lots of moments of doubts, confidence, frustration, joy, and fear. But that’s what made this experience so special and unique.

Not everything this season went as I wanted, or as my dancers wanted but the best thing was that we took a risk going to WOD as such a YOUNG team (we’ve only existed a year) took the exposure and have learned so much. I think this whole experience did show me where I want to go in my dancers journey and helped me open a third eye with dance. That now I’m even more excited for the future. More excited to comeback stronger and I really promise that to myself and others. I want my team to be the most welcoming in the city and I always want them to be the most recognized, I want to work hard and continue to pour a little bit of my soul into each project, I’m so excited for what the future holds. I’m excited for what the young talent in San Antonio holds and I can’t wait to look back on these memories one day and be glad I pulled thru with this in my life. 🫶

WOD 2026✔️..
It was a huge goal of ours to take the team to WOD and to say we were actually able to achieve that is wild considering @sypher_dancecrew hasn’t been active for that long🙇🏻‍♀️ big shoutouts to our fellow choreographers we had help in the making of the set! @wesbutworse @ppurpl3girl @ajayy.jewel so thankful for you guys and even more proud I had the opportunity to witness you all create<3.

Also so proud of the boss lady jk (boss man) @kishoa_ for being such a strong willed director, even in the hardest of times. Your courage & dedication is contagious so I couldn’t be happier to co-lead a team with you..
BUT in conclusion many big things are on the horizon for us, we have lots in store and I couldn’t look forward to them more, knowing I have a great dance partner & friend/hater by my side to hold me accountable lol but ON TO THE NEXT THING!

Joined @sypher_dancecrew for my second WOD, and it was such a pleasure to dance with old and new friends! Thank you to the team directors and choreographers for everything, this project was amazing, looking forward to the next one!
