My favorite thing about Dolly was how unapologetically feminine she was. With all of the big hair, makeup, lashes, and shiny fancy clothes, she never felt the need to tone herself down for anyone.

She said she always wanted to feel pretty, so I was inspired to paint her in a way to reflect that side of her…

Feminine, luminous, and pink! 🌟🌸🩷✨

She was an incredible human inside and out, and inspired so many of us in the world and her legacy deserves to be celebrated.

Social Media throws us into a rhythm of constant comparison.

These apps are meant to be addictive. It’s easy to passively absorb content all day. But do you ever catch yourself in a web of negativity? You feel icky after going on the apps…

We get so caught up in the addiction of social media that we become too focused on what everyone else is doing & we forget what our purpose is. We lose ourselves.

This is where I’m at with my business. I’m learning to lean into the creativity, and focus on growth. The more I do, the more content I can create that comes from a place of inspiration and love. It just flows.

Step back from social media and ask yourself: What lights a fire within? What are your passions and hobbies? What are the very things that make you happy?

These are the things that make you unique. This is the content people want to see. Your authentic selves. We are not robots or AI with endless ideas for reels or content. Stop reaching. Stop mimicking & copying. Look within.

At the end of the day we are all going to judge each other on social media regardless. So if you don’t like what someone has to say or posts, hit unfollow and move a long with your day.

If you are holding on to feelings of negativity, sometimes it comes from jealousy. You are jealous that someone else out there is doing their thing and posting about it and people are listening and following.

I’ve been on both sides of this. I have gotten overwhelmed and anxious with all of the content I was absorbing that I pulled away and isolated for YEARS without posting. Then on the other side, I have had people who were so bothered by my content…but at least they were entertained.

What is the solution? Just to focus on yourself. Focus on your growth. Find your purpose. If you’re not happy tap into a growth mindset and work on fixing your business. You can always take a class- you can always improve.

You won’t have time for anything else!

I try taking a few courses each year to keep up with new things happening in the industry, and with every class I take away something new to help elevate your services! Have you ever gotten to a place in your career or life where you felt stuck? Or uninspired? I was. & I knew that the only choice I had was to change my path..👣

I love offering lash services but I am not a machine or a lash robot🤖.. I am a girl who is passionate about art & creation, and finding my way back to that was what I needed.

I now focus mainly on offering lash education to help new lash artists grow and start their own journey. I still have a small lash clientele I maintain who are a group of incredible & inspiring women - that have supported me throughout the years. So loyal and I am grateful for each single one of them!

I do not take on new lash clients very often anymore, but I do specialty lash sets, & fullsets on models every now and again.

Creating beautiful customized lash sets using my artistic eye without the constraints or pressure from running a business is what has allowed me to fall in love with lash extensions again. To me it is art. ✨🎨🖌️👩🏻‍🎨
