Snowtrip with friends - unfortunately didn't get to record much because i was too busy falling but luckily had team effort to pull enough clips together. It was a fun and jam packed 3 days with great moments and lots of laughter.

Anyway, a bit of a tangent but this year I've been enjoying picking up books and one in particular was fun to read that I started taking notes - The Courage to be Disliked. It's just a reminder to carpe diem, live in the moment and that happiness is essentially getting to know and helping others and this snow trip was that.

Some notes below:
• Live free from people's expectations and have the courage to be happy is what you do with that freedom.
• Do not strive to serve yourself, be of service to others. Find meaning in being useful to others.
• Self-acceptance is having the courage to change what one can change. Acnkowledging what you cannot change - the past, other people's feelings etc. Courage to change what you can change - your choices, your responses, the meaning you assign to things and your behaviour going forward.
• The greatest unhappiness is not being able to like oneself.
• Do not view life as a line. Think of life as a series of dots, a series of moments called ‘now’. We dance around each of these moments and it is dancing itself that is the goal, no one is concerned with arriving somewhere by doing it.
• Life has no meaning, you are the only one who can assign meaning to your life.
