🔊 LEVITY AT HISTORY OTTAWA | A NEW CHAPTER FOR EDM 🎶🎉

HISTORY OTTAWA'S FIRST-EVER DUBSTEP EVENT ~ SOLD OUT! 🔥👏

With @levity.music headlining & @djhamro + @kat2kattt kicking things off, the Capital really showed up! 🇨🇦🔥

From the incredible production to the packed dance floor, this night was more than just music... it was a celebration of community 🫶✨️

🎛️ Special recognition to Canadian AV integrator @solotech_inc & their local team, credited with supplying & installing the venue's audiovisual systems, helping bring this incredible experience to life!

🙏 A huge thank you to the entire HISTORY team for the warm hospitality! From the technicians & security to coat check, bartenders & everyone behind the scenes, your hard work makes nights like these possible!

💖 To the artists, organizers & everyone dancing their hearts out, THANK YOU for bringing the energy!

🤯 I even met someone who travelled all the way from Montreal just for this show! If that doesn't speak to the momentum of Ottawa's growing music scene, I don't know what does!

HISTORY Ottawa has only recently opened its doors, & it's already making waves! 🌊🎼 I'm blown away by what's been accomplished so far & can't wait to see what's next for EDM at HISTORY! 👀😍

Because a thriving music scene isn't built by artists alone. It's built by everyone who brings it to life. 🤝🥳

🎧 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: DJ GLORY HULL

Electric Fields is an atmosphere where music and art merge into one. DJ Glory Hull joins us to fill the spaces in between, carrying us from one sonic world to the next.

Born and raised in Mexico City and now based in Hull, DJ Glory Hull has been a distinct and familiar presence in the Ottawa–Gatineau music and arts scene for over a decade.

Known for adventurous, eclectic selections, Glory Hull draws on contemporary sounds from the Latin American diaspora, tropical rhythms, and unexpected musical discoveries from far beyond. Moving freely between styles and traditions, their sets bring together lush auditory textures, bold grooves, and the sense of discovering something new.

Regularly performing at venues and festivals including Club SAW, Daïmôn, AXENÉO7, Pique, and Radio Hull, Glory Hull has built an artistic practice around musical exploration and a deep engagement with the region's independent arts community.

Glory Hull joins us as resident selector for Electric Fields, providing the musical thread connecting the evening's performances. Between acts, his selections help shape the atmosphere of the night, maintaining energy and flow, and keeping the spirit of discovery alive.

Join us on October 24 at Club SAW as Glory Hull accompanies an evening of adventurous electronic music, audiovisual experimentation, and collective celebration.

🎟️ Tickets via link in bio.

When: Saturday October 24, 8pm-1am
Where: Club Saw - 67 Nicholas St, Ottawa, ON @saw_centre

Come celebrate 30 years of art, ingenuity, technology, and creativity in the Capital Region.

🎶 Breuklynn’s first outdoor music festival! 🎶

Poppy and I took Breuklynn to CityFolk @cityfolkfest at the RA Centre field for her very first festival experience — and while the music may not have been exactly her preferred genre, she was such a good sport and took it all in. 🤣❤️

Being the wonderful granddaughter she is, she knew Poppy really wanted to see Alice Cooper, so she put on a brave face and happily went along for the ride. 😂🎸 She may not have been converted into an Alice Cooper superfan, but she definitely enjoyed the experience!

She also discovered a new band, Amigo The Devil @amigothedevil who seemed to be much more up her alley — so I’d say the festival was a success! 🎶

And then, to top it all off, Breuklynn had her photo taken by the official festival photographer with my friends Katie and Nicole. 📸✨ She’s officially famous now! 😂

I think Poppy has officially introduced her to his kind of music… so going forward, Auntie Lynsey will make sure the music selection is a little more her speed. 😉🤣

A pretty great first festival experience with Poppy, and one I’m sure we’ll all remember! ❤️🎶

After 5 days, @cityfolkfest has ended and shockingly enough was my favourite night because it was punk rock and heavy metal.
I was kind of skeptical on how the last day will fare but I was wrong and had a fun time!
Cool to see the punk/garage rock scenesters, musicians and hipsters at the festival.
Great way to end the summer
