My Elysium - A Haiku

Embraced in your arms,
Feeling you so close once more,
My Elysium.

Counting Constellations

I have watched them since a boy,
Transversing a sky of blackening purple.
Staring across uncountable years of airless void,
Always searching for a heavenly portal.
Wanting to cruise amongst the furtherest galaxies,
And planting flags while counting constellations.
Such was the stuff of Star Wars fueled childhood fantasies,
Which laid the foundation for a lifetime of conversations.
