Meet Tain Half, a student and artist at @idyllwildarts, who photographed our first installation. Tain Half is a 3rd year Junior at Idyllwild Arts Academy studying Fashion, Photography, and Metalsmithing. Tain is a proud citizen of the Apsáalooke Nation, also known as the Crow Nation from Montana. Tain enjoys expressing her Apsaalooké culture through various artistic mediums as well as spending quality time with friends and family. This very first solo presentation of her art is an important first step in learning how to present and represent her artistry in a professional setting. Tain’s ambition after Idyllwild Arts is to continue a career in the arts and to set a good example to her siblings to follow their dreams. Thanks Tain for visually capturing the importance of Cahuilla land and how we can continue to honor it🌱
