Even though a lot of 2024 was for the birds - I’m thankful for my people that got me through. Won some. Lost some. 2024 broke me, but also it’s proved what I can actually do - single mom life, full time jobs - BSN RN accelerated program, losing friends and gaining new ones. Trips, concerts, new hobbies. Breaking me to making me. 2025 coming for you VERY slowly -but expecting better 🫶🏼

This place and people have healed me more than I ever really thought a job was capable of. No doubt in my mind @davenportdrew offering me a job on a random Friday and starting on Monday was an accident even if he didn’t know what he was saying.

It’s the place that saw the breakdown. It’s the place I’ve gone through the emotions of the last year. It’s the place I found out I was accepted into a nursing program. It’s the place that I didn’t know I’d need but man I’m thankful for it. Drew and @t.ierrawalker and this building have seen the best moments and the broken ones. Even if the last month has been a big learning curve and pressure - it’s still teaching me how to be better.

It hasn’t been easy. I didn’t truly understand what it was... The amount of information that’s in my head. Knowing patients - their medicine, their family, their stories. Sometimes it’s therapy for them to just share, and be heard. Be met where they are. I’m thankful for a year of hearing the good and bad. You never know what people are going through, or if they are lonely and need to heard.

I’m thankful for the hard days. It’s made me a stronger and better Pharm Tech and honestly a better human.

For that - I am so thankful. Going into nursing I feel like I already have a step up, not necessarily because of the drugs and knowledge from that side of medicine (even though it absolutely will) but because I’ve learned how to love a little harder even on the hard days.

Ready for year ✌🏼

July has been my favorite month this year I think 💭

Trip to VA. Focusing on saying yes to doing all the things. Being able to bring the kids to work some days. Pool days. Karaoke nights with friends. Being ridiculous with friends. Turning sirens on cop SUVS. Rodeo dance offs with Honey. Dancing the stress away. And of course BANANA BALL weekend. Good luck August 🫶🏼👏🏼
