Warriors has been selected and will premiere at the prestigious 28th Annual Sidewalk Film Festival (@sidewalkfilm) in Birmingham, Alabama. We’ve also been chosen by the festival as the Alabama Spotlight Feature Documentary! Over the past 15 years, Coach Vince McConnell became one of my most trusted advisors, greatest supporters, and closest friends. Coach Vince consistently showed up in my life to encourage, motivate, and pick me up when I needed it most. While those texts, calls, and training sessions won’t happen anymore, Coach Vince’s legacy will live on through all of the lives he touched during his time on Earth. In just the last day, I’ve talked to guys I haven’t heard from in years who reached out just to talk about the good ole days and what Vince meant to them. So while Coach Vince may be gone his memory and presence will be felt for a long time.

And as most know, behind every great man is an even better woman and that was absolutely the case for Coach Vince. I am forever grateful to Coach Vince’s wife, Mrs. Lynn, for allowing Vince to give so much of himself to the guys he coached, and for allowing me to come talk to Coach one last time about prowler pushes, my son John Vincent, and to tell him thank you for everything he did for me. You are already missed, Coach Vince. Love you 💙👊🏼
