august, again
.
spent three weeks last month between brooklyn and seattle on two different projects, marking the end of a regrettable year-long hiatus. i forgot how important this is to me, about the world and all the people in it. i feel more myself then i have in so long. having a camera in hand and a story to tell is the closest thing in my life to a spiritual practice. i’m writing again, finally kicking saint helens up the hill now that i can afford to. somewhere between picking up where i left off and starting over. so much to share, so much left to do.
.
thank you to @sadieschoenberger and @phoebe3vans and the crew of Babyteeth for trusting me with shooting such a personal project, i couldn’t be more excited to share what we made together. and more about the doc i co-directed alongside @angelovisserr in the coming months. i’ll catch ya’ll in the next one <3

BABYTEETH is officially wrapped❤️anyone who knows me knows how much this story means to me, and to get to tell it with my bestfriend who was right next to me through it all means so much more to me that words will ever be able to convey. everyone involved poured their damn hearts into this 40-paged-monster of a script, and we cannot wait to share more with you guys soon. i’m counting down the days. thank you guys for everything.

to @elijahanthonyf our incredible DP and my incredible friend, thank you for flying across the country to support this brainchild that has become all three of ours. i cannot wait to marvel over your artistry for the rest of my life.

to @emmesibulkin and @walkerfenrich - thank you for bringing these bestfriends so close to our hearts to life. we are in awe of y’all’s talent and even more in awe of y’all’s beautiful souls.

to our crew- from the people we just met to the friends from long ago- this wouldn’t have been possible without you guys. y’all were the fucking sun. thank you for keeping us all warm and joyful and for being so goddamn perfect 24/7. we are forever grateful to you and will sing your praises always.
