Bumped into @t44dashi yesterday at @olaoluslawn’s exhibition, Crane. ICL, this might be my favourite photo I took all day. I think I need to do more event photography, but with my own twist on it. Feel like there’s something here. 👀

Please make a huge noise for @benbrooksbts amazing new book… The first time I saw Bens work it stayed with me I was at my first @certifiedshowandtell and I was terrified to show my work, I got chatting to Ben and it calmed my nerves Maybe it was something about the piece he had brought to show and tell, the calming tones of the aerochrome film were just out of this world Now I have an old camera and ever since that encounter I’ve been on a hunt how to create that film effect on my camera and create projects, it turned out the my @rewindpix_camera had a similar digital film which inspired me to do an exhibition piece also with these tones You see on a journey you never know the energy you will meet and how it can impact you also and shape you, as seeing Bens work has shown me I needed to level up and create and just trust the process of #layersoflife Seeing everyone’s energy on the book launch night was amazing as everyone connected and shared moments of how photography can show you the world Ben thank you for the inspiration #booklaunch #pacedheights #music #gocreate

I had the amazing opportunity to speak at the @exhibit69 Show & Tell, where I shared my latest piece which is part of my long-term project Gentrification kills beauty.. This piece was honestly a labour of love. I spent most of the summer working on it, and throughout the process, it became a way for me to reconnect with and fall back in love with my Caribbean heritage. It also gave me the opportunity to dive deeper into the history of Notting Hill Carnival and really immerse myself in the beauty, culture and energy behind it. It was honestly amazing being in a room surrounded by so many talented creatives and getting to share a piece that means so much to me. Big thank you to @exhibit69 for giving me the opportunity to speak, share my work and tell the story behind a piece that’s so close to my heart. ❤️ 📸 @lambadrian 🎦 @t44dashi 👁️👄 #fyp #artist #london #showandtell

What show and tells mean for me… They came at a time when I was lost, when I was told to give up my bikes through my heart condition, bikes and turning the pedals was all I knew, it helped me climb through the ups and downs After losing that freedom of a #layeroflife I somehow found my old Nikon d50 and it took me on a journey as journey to a show and tell I love the concept that even if you turn up with art or a piece on the night you are not guaranteed to show but the true connection is that it pumps you up to make a step, to make a step to get out of your comfort zone and share that moment that plays in your mind over and over, that step shows you that we all have what it takes to create and talk about our journeys and connections I can say that each time I’ve turned up to an event I’ve left floating and always thought the next project is going to be a different chapter of layers of life and also a new connection on a journey Hearing @shadeztm and @exhibit69 talk about their journeys were so insightful, so powerful to hear the words that would be watering dreams of others to make that step, take that jump to create and show the universe what can happen when worlds come together at events like here This journey took me to carry over 10 prints to this event and each print was a gift for a friend that had been part of my journey, all the prints I had there that night were taken on days I was actually at my weakest and felt I had to give up but my bike has always taught me to keep climbing as the next view point will be even greater than the last, I’ve never shown or seen my work in that format so thank you @fsdagreat @naat_music7 @belletinker82 for allowing me to capture your journeys as it really cemented that idea that I need to keep this camera idea going and to see where it may take me on a new journey So the next time you see a show and tell posted Go grab a ticket and tell the universe your story as yes it is scary but yes you will leave floating and be making new connections to creative vibes Thank you to all for showing me your energy #pacedheights #art #goandcreate #showandtell
