I was scrolling on tik tok about 3 hours in (🫣) when I came across @ellie.love ‘s video of creating a short film that addressed so many important topics within Korean culture (queerness, matriarchy, the impact of food - especially within the diaspora). I knew I wanted to be a part of this project since I am always passionate about these subjects, but I wasn’t sure how it was going to happen. 🫶🏼 I just sent a DM and an email, and after a couple months and a train ride away, I was able to participate as a BTS photographer 🙆🏻 Thank you for trusting me, a random stranger on the internet, to be a part of your vision and now happy to call you a friend 🫶🏼

I sat on this photo for about 3-4 years because I knew that the first round of edits I made was not matching to the feeling that I felt while looking at this photo 💐

Inspired by @elizavetaporodina ‘s work and the softness of the photo and me accidentally clicking “inverted” on my keyboard and now we are here 🤞🏼

Thank you to everyone who helped me achieve this vision to life and sorry it took many years for me to finally be happy with one of the images… more to come 🫂

I literally cannot thank everybody enough for this shoot and for trusting me and for wanting to be apart of this vision.

I had this photoshoot idea ever since I saw Rosalía’s performance where she had her dancers turn into a motorcycle. I wanted a sexy biker chick moment, but incorporate people to make it feel more like a collaboration.

This project was in the making for about
a month, and I wanted to thank the entire team for being patient and so willing every step of the way.
