Yesterday I attended my first “coffee & rave” session in London with the gorgeous dancing buddy @t_peace22 it was hosted by @rantandrambleuk in collaboration with @beginagain which is the superb podcast hosted by @davinamccall. The morning started at 6.45am meet up at the brilliant location @thefollybarlondon for coffee and then 400 of us took a 15 minute walk ‘warmup’ over the gorgeous sights of London and back to The Folly for an incredibly uplifting ’rave’ for 45 minutes - all ended by 8am and everyone went off on their merry way!! I have to say the atmosphere created by the brilliant @sammitchamdj and wonderfully talented @romifoxx_drums was off the scale. 📣🙌🏼🥁 Importantly, the event was raising money for the incredible cancer charity @maggiescentres and we took the roof off with positivity, kindness and joy. The idea behind the Begin Again podcast is speaking to people on their experience of ‘beginning again’ - health, life experiences, middle age changes, adversity - whatever your story is! The audience - having never met before - had a key thing in common - to start every day with joy 🤩 We were spoilt by being gifted gorgeous aromatherapy roller balls for different moods too by @rebel_rituals. If days could start with this amount of positive energy, vibes and endorphins then I’m certain life could be more colourful for many. I cannot wait to do it all again on 9th September, was buzzin’ all day🙌🏼💃🏻🪩 Sign up with @rantandrambleuk @beginagain or @eventbrite if you’d like to be part of the fun! (Rant & Ramble do these events all over the country, go follow if another location may be better for you) 🪩💃🏻🪩💃🏻🪩💃🏻🪩💃🏻🪩💃🏻🪩 ☕️ #beginagain #rantandramble #maggiescancercentres #dancing #happiness

💚Sunday 5th July… June McHenry is guiding us with her unique mindful Arts and Crafts at our next retreat….June McHenry took a left turn in her early fifties to do a Fine Art degree, in Wrexham University graduating with a 1st Class Honour’s, quickly followed by a 3 month Arts in Health course Bangor University. She discovered whilst studying that she was more a conceptual artist. Since then has been delivering and assisting with Arts workshops in many forms to many different groups. Her greatest passion is for a workshop she developed herself many years ago - Colour Emotions, a mindful fun workshop where one can explore one’s hopes, dreams and ambitions - all with very diverse art materials and there can be no interpretations or assumptions made by others, created in a private way whilst having fun. (No drawing or painting) Working with children, young farmers, general public from 10 -80+ in various settings from the local village hall, schools, Ruthin Gaol, a hospice and private homes too. 💚
