- That’s a wrap on RESERVE 🥂 During WebX 2026, we brought funds, treasuries, and builders together for an evening where stablecoin capital met digital asset treasury (DAT) — away from the conference floor, in an intimate corner of Tokyo. Thank you to everyone who showed up for the conversations that matter: the founders, crypto funds, on-chain treasurers, and infrastructure teams shaping where capital goes next. Nights like this are exactly why we do what we do. ✨Co-hosted with @taastw & #GreenMonster, produced by @cryptomiles.official 🍻A special thank you to @the_public_six for hosting us — the warm, wood-toned space was the perfect backdrop for the evening. Until the next one 🚀

✨【#TVCA2026｜Stablecoin Summit Recap】 After the VASP Act, Taiwan's question shifts from "should we open up?" to "how do banks take it on?" Ten days after the VASP Act passed, the Stablecoin Summit landed at Taipei New Horizon on July 8. The headline moment: FSC Banking Bureau DG Chen-chang Tong framed regulation as steadying the car, not braking it — citing Terra's US$60B+ collapse and distilling "trust" into full reserves, segregation, face-value redemption, no interest and disclosure. Denny Yang (Red Building Capital) opened on the "golden cross": what matters isn't tech, but whether regulators, banks and Web3 speak one language. Three panels formed the core: "Compliant On-Chain" on reserves, custody and proof-of-reserves; "From Exchange Guidelines to Compliant Custody," where CTBC's Vincent Lee showed Taiwan's demand comes from FX-controlled markets in LatAm and Africa, not speed; and "Asia Rising" on the regional race and startup openings. Ivan Li closed: the law is a starting line — the real work is the next 12 months. 🤝 Partners: TVCA, TPEA, Solana Foundation, BitGo, Capital Layer, TAAS *Curated by Red Building Capital, Solana Foundation and Capital Layer; co-hosted by TVCA and TPEA. #TVCA2026 #StablecoinSummit #Stablecoin #Custody #Web3

- We're thrilled that our Founding Partner Ivan Li is heading to this year's Asia VC Summit, one of the headline stages of the 2026 Taiwan Venture Capital & Private Equity Summit (VC&PE Summit). Taking place on July 8 at Eslite Performance Hall B1 with Plug and Play Taiwan as co-organizer, this year's Summit marks a first: the chairmen of the Taiwan (TVCA/TPEA), Japan (JVCA), and Korea (KVCA) venture capital associations all share one stage. Capital leaders from across Asia Pacific come together over 4 panels, 5 keynotes, and 12 startup pitches, with AI, emerging industries, and cross-border investment between Taiwan, Japan, and Korea at the center of the conversation. Ivan sits on the stablecoin panel as moderator, in conversation with Ivan Chan of BitGo, Scott Lee of Solana Foundation, Makoto Aoki of SBI Digital Finance, and Justin Wang of Capital Layer. The discussion digs into how banks are bringing stablecoins and cross-border settlement into their next phase. Once banks start treating this seriously, it stops being a technology question and becomes a question of where financial institutions want to stand in what comes next. 📌 Session details: "Banks and Stablecoins: How Financial Institutions Are Positioning for Next-Generation Cross-Border Settlement" 🕦 Wed, July 8｜11:15–11:45 🗣️ Moderator: ・Ivan Li, Co-Founder, Red Building Capital / TAAS 🗣️ Panelists: ・Ivan Chan, Senior Director, BitGo ・Scott Lee, Head of Korea, Solana Foundation ・Makoto Aoki, CEO, SBI Digital Finance ・Justin Wang, Founder & CEO, Capital Layer ---- 📅 Asia VC Summit｜Wed, July 8, 2026, 09:00–17:30 📍 Eslite Performance Hall B1, Taipei 👉 Register: luma.com/pztxw2pb ( link in bio / Comma3 Event Calendar )
