👩‍🎓VALEDICTORIAN👩‍🎓

It's Convocation Week here at Olds College of Agriculture & Technology, and as we welcome the next crop of future leaders as Alumni, we're thrilled to share that our very own Tabitha Martin will be the Valedictorian for Saturday's ceremonies!

A three-time CCAA National Scholar, Tabitha is as diligent and dedicated a student-athlete and Olds College ambassador as you'll find anywhere; she is graduating with a diploma in Animal Health Technology, which she's adding to certificates in Business Management, Veterinary Medical Receptionist, and a Veterinary Technical Assistant Certificate dual credit program she completed while in high school.

Our women's volleyball captain has been an integral piece for Broncos Athletics since coming to Olds in 2019, and she also shared some of her challenges and experiences associated with being a student-athlete as part of the ACAC's Make Some Noise for Mental Health campaign this past winter.

Congratulations on such a prestigious and well-deserved honour, Tabi! We're forever grateful for your contributions to our program, and we know you'll never be too far away!

😊Thank You😊

Here are the eight players we'll be honouring tonight, with service time as Broncos ranging from two to five seasons on the court (in the case of Stoddart, Bates and Hurtig, six years in Olds in total).

Every contribution matters, and we're grateful to all of these players for what they've done in the cardinal and gold (or black and gold, depending on how far back they go!)

(P.S. - Thank you to @huskiesathleticsofficial for the inspiration!)
