When the savagery of Eaters of Worlds crashes against the stoic knights of Caliban, no quarter is asked and none is given. The First Legion holds the line against the blood tide.

The Dark Angels managed to push the swarm of World Eaters back in their first game of ZM using the new Tactica rules and missions.
I used one of the new Primary detachments purely to try out a double dread list.
Really enjoyed the new rules and missions. Looking forward to trying out the rest.

A couple games of Zone Mortalis with @tabletoptamo yesterday. Helping him playtest some mission mechanics for the upcoming Cydonia 3 event. Was fun playing something other than the core ZM missions. Look forward to seeing how they evolve for the event.

Another great battle last night with the 1st Legion pitted against the 12th.
The World Eaters took an early lead, tearing apart my heavy firepower, but once the Master of Descent arrived they had no way of avoiding the imminent Plasma death from the Interemptors.

First ZM game of 2026 with @tabletoptamo and his Sons of Horus.
A win for the SoH in the end.
The position of the objectives in some of the core missions are a bit annoying and often result in line units staying put for the majority of the game. In the end, the Son's got the upper hand by removing one of my Tac squads from an objective.

Another ZM game. This time against @tabletoptamo and his World Eaters. It was a terrible defeat for the 1st Legion but was good to try out a few different units (even if most of them were removed as casualties very quickly)

Looking forward to more ZM games, I just need to get some more units built to try out.
