For Venus in Three Movements: Gossip, Zack Darsee and Nadia Marcus curate a programme of live readings, performance and sound featuring Soria Reilly with Adam Sinclaire and Nadia Marcus.

Buttressing each instalment and utilising various spaces of the ACUD complex, these poets, musicians and performers draw focus to the relational and ephemeral, the sonic and blushingly sensual charge TABLOID’s events fill a room with.

Day 7 / 30

„Venus in Three Movements” began at ACUD courtyard with a reading by Tabloid Press featuring Amelia Ada and Bishop Black who use language as a form of resistance and reclaiming. Jordan Deal then took the event—featuring the evolving opera “Capeforce”—to a location disclosed on the day. Drawing on the compositions of Julius Eastman, Deal presented a performative work that breaks through passive spectatorship by fostering collective consciousness through a series of unpredictable events. Both events were recorded and will be broadcasted by the radio station Refuge Worldwide.
