“I’m Charity!” “I’m Etta.” “Etta! We’re supposed to—“ “Introduce ourselves!” “I’m Etta, I’m 21 years old. I’m a part time vintage clothing reseller and part time DJ in the metaverse.” “I first met Charity— we were smoking!” “I was at that nudist camp, the only one in the tristate area—“ “—saw this girl and knew it was meant to be.” 👩🏽‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏽🩷🩵 Another excerpt from my pseudo doc, ‘Silverfish’, which explores futuristic and current realities within the world we live in through a dystopian, surreal and nostalgic lens. Silverfish follows an interview with three young girls trapped inside a house in Queens, New York in the aftermath of a catastrophic meteor strike. We begin with Alaska, a 19 year old angelic gamer girl, followed by Etta and Charity, two 21 year old best friends, lovers and ultra cute doppelgangers. Together, the film explores themes of technological advancements, nepo babies, identity and the uncertain future that many youths face today.
