Whew! What a full week and I’m still pinching myself that the Austin Convention Center expansion project is officially kicking off next week from a demolition timeline.

These photos are bit out of order, and they are just iPhone photos but I could not wait any longer to share how proud I am of both @redvelvetevents and @strongeventsatx for working on this special event. Farewell ACC; we’ll be here when you reopen in 2029.

Special shout out to @freemancompany @remiandgold and @cortevents who we could not have done this beautiful setup without.

And in case you’re wondering, this was a HUGE undertaking as @meritageevents did the first floor while we tackled the escalators and Ballroom D (IYKYK)

Fun fact - DYK that Strong was a part of the opening celebration back in 1992 (predates my ownership)? I ❤️ a full circle story #EventProfs #TrueAustin #UnconventionalATX
