Truly, if the highest place I reach is at His feet, then I've done it all. The past few months have actually been quite gut-wrenching and ugly in the midst of many amazing moments and experiences. I chose to hide and to isolate a lot and let me tell you, that didnt help lol. I kept telling myself I was fine and that I would get through it. Nope! I was trying to do it without God when I knew that that wasnt going to work. I thought I could make it better. AbsoLUTELY not! All I did was make things worse until I reached my breaking point. I started to throw away things I didn't need, donate clothes I hadn't looked at for years, and just began the decluttering process. I prayed and gave my struggles to God and He has been healing me bit by bit and it has been a blessing, but also it has been hard. God doesnt just take things away willy nilly. You have to take a step and allow Him to crush you in order to refine you and shape you into more like Him. Have you ever been crushed? Like...literally crushed? Well let me tell you about the One Who was literally crushed for us. Jesus. He came to seek and to save the lost and He died the most gruesome death on the cross FOR US. He rose from the grave three days later and we are able to have a relationship with Him! This is the love of God for us. Perfect, sacrificial, unending, alive, beautiful and just. He has been teaching me that I cannot do this on my own no matter how hard i try. I am nothing without Him. But because I know Him, I have everything. Having been raised from death to life, I can sing of the goodness of God throughout my whole life. Ain't no way i would be alive today if it was not for Him. Jesus loves you. He died for you. He rose from the dead. He is alive, and you can know Him. I am a living breathing walking testimony of His goodness and I am so glad to be where I am right now. Everything that happens to us is for our refinement. Thank You, Jesus!❤️
